Refund policy

Please be advised that due to the handwoven nature of our products, we typically only have one of each kind available at any given time. Additionally, as our fabrics are pure and our weaves delicate, each garment necessitates meticulous handling. Consequently, we can only accommodate cancellations, returns, or exchanges in exceptional circumstances.


Cancellations :

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no tassels and/or fall pico have been added at your request. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a credit equivalent to the value of your order for any future purchase on our website. Should you prefer a refund instead, any associated bank/payment gateway processing charges will be your responsibility and will be deducted from the total prior to the refund being issued. Please note that only unstitched garments (such as saris, stoles, and dupattas) are eligible for cancellations. Orders for fabrics and pre-made apparel/garments cannot be cancelled or returned.


Returns:

Returns will solely be accepted in cases of manufacturing defects or dispatch of incorrect items. It's important to acknowledge that while we strive to accurately depict product colors on our website, minor variations between the website picture and the received product may occur due to factors such as light settings, picture angles, and fabric characteristics. Such variations do not warrant a return. Apparel/garments and fabrics cannot be returned. 

To initiate a return, please email your request to plumpineindia@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Requests submitted after 48 hours of parcel delivery will not be eligible for returns. If your order arrives in a parcel that appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed, we advise against accepting it and urge you to contact us immediately at plumpineindia@gmail.com and call +91 9125816676.

In the rare event of merchandise arriving damaged, please email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with your return request. Upon receipt of your request, we will examine it and provide an authorization for return/exchange within 5 working days. Once authorized, the product must be couriered back in its original packaging to Plum & Pine at the address provided within 5 days, accompanied by the original bill and intact tags.

We aim to process all returns within 7 working days. You have the option to receive a full refund in the form of store credits or a refund to your original credit or debit card used for payment, though return shipping charges and a stocking fee may apply. While Plum & Pine will initiate the refund credited on your original debit or credit card within 7 working days, we cannot guarantee the timeline for processing by the bank authorities.

Exchanges:

You may proceed with an exchange of your order only if no tassels and/or fall pico have been added at your request or confirmation. Please note that you will be responsible for any applicable customs and duties for both the returned shipment and the items we dispatch in exchange. (It's important to mention that incoming shipments into India from overseas may incur significant custom duty charges, which will need to be covered by the customer in the event of an exchange.) For overseas shipments, to and from shipping charges will apply. 

If your exchanged is approved the product will be Re-Delivered within 5-7 Day.

All of our apparel is custom-made and therefore cannot be exchanged. Additionally, fabrics are cut from full yardage and are not eligible for exchange. Please be aware that any product that has been opened, unfolded, or tried on will not be eligible for exchange.
